This blog will give you the quality and unique content on mental health.I and you will together make others aware about what mental health is. Are you ready guys? So let's go….…..

First let me give you a little overview of what we are going to learn about. In this blog I would like to share my understanding of mental health and mental illness and also love to hear your thoughts on the same in the comment section.

MENTAL HEALTH
Let's do an activity before looking into my answer just ask yourself what you think about mental health? Give 3-5 mins to ask yourself . Alright , hope you did this activity. Now let's see ……

Mental health is not just meant to be an absence of mental disorders but how the individual thinks, feels and behaves. These things affect in a way as one's thoughts make them feel and then it turns into a behavior.
For instance,  if one's thought was 'all things going good for me ', 'yes, finally I did this', 'woo-hoo today is my day'  which makes the person feel happy, enthusiastic, enjoyable and behavior turns out to be dancing, celebrating, treating others happily.

Mental health is as important to you as your physical health. You have seen how your thoughts put you in the way you behave daily. So if you really want to change your behavior start working on your thoughts and your mental health. What you feed your thoughts will show you the same. Nourish your thoughts, feed positive things and it reflects warmth and positivity in your behavior.

MENTAL ILLNESS
If you think there is a presence of some disorder or problem in your mind. Then I would say you are somewhere around but there are some distortions( errors in thinking which means all unwanted stuff present there) in your thoughts which actually affect your feelings and turns in the way you behave now.

Mental illness does not mean to stigmatize yourself with the name of 'mental', 'psycho' and hiding yourself behind a curtain. Do not postpone it by saying what others think if I go to the psychologist.

NO, NO!!! PLEASE STOP DOING THIS.

Do not stop yourself because of what others think. Even let them know how important it is. Your mental health is your priority. If you are not comfortable in your thoughts, step out the door and step in with your psychologist/counselor who helps you to recover yourself with normal thoughts.

Just answer one of my question to all of you
If you are having a cardiac disease where would you like to go?  To someone who treats stomach ache or backache. You are like what!!  Obviously you should go to a cardiac specialist but if you are having any mental disorder so would you prefer to go to a cardiac specialist.
No, then?
Yes, to the psychologist or psychiatrist.

Be aware about your problems and thought processes and think before where you should leave, to your doctor or counselor/psychologist?

Thank You so much guys for reading this post. Hope you have a better understanding now and rate yourself before and after reading the post on the 10 point rating scale in the comment section. I am looking forward to your views.

Stay blessed and stay happy!!
